Dorf Kapelle at Buttermilk Festival on July 5th

Dorf Kapelle will return for its 21st free Buttermilk Festival performance at the Wifler Performance Center in Buttermilk Creek Park, Fond du Lac  on Wednesday, July 5. The evening of music will begin with Peggy Mueller entertaining on the button box at 6:00 p.m. and during intermission. Dorf Kapelle will take the stage at 7:15 p.m.

Dorf Kapelle was organized in 1988 and performed at the first Buttermilk Festival that year. The roster includes musicians from throughout east central Wisconsin. Instrumentation consists of one flute/piccolo, three clarinets, two flugelhorns, one trumpet, three trombones, two tubas, one tenor horn, one euphonium, and percussion. With priority to the famous Ernst Mosch band of Germany, the Dorf library includes folk music from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, along with a few American favorites.
