The Fond du Lac Symphonic Band will perform at Firemen’s Park in Campbellsport on Thursday, July 13, under the direction of Associate Conductor Jill Wagner, assisted by Nickole Kawleski. The evening will open with music by the Fond du Lac Senior Center SCAMP Band, beginning at 6:15 p.m. The Symphonic Band concert will start at 7:30 p.m.
Vocalists Kevin Fosado and Kim Richardson will sing True Colors and Can’t Stop the Feeling from the movie Trolls, and bassoon soloist Alaina Leisten will perform the first movement of the Mozart Bassoon Concerto. The clarinet section will be featured on Reeds of Distinction.
The program will also include The Marches from Star Wars, At the Movies with Danny Elfman, and highlights from Moana and Beauty and the Beast. Rounding out the concert fare will be a novelty piece: Instant Concert, and two Sousa marches: Manhattan Beach and Stars and Stripes Forever.
