SYMPHONIC BAND TO PERFORM AT CAMPBELLSPORT ON JULY 11

The Fond du Lac Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Evan Chancellor, will perform at Firemen’s Park in Campbellsport on Thursday, July 11. The evening will open with music by the Happy Hour Band at 6:15 p.m. and the Symphonic Band concert will start at 7:30 p.m.
The program will feature selections from the band’s recent Americana and “A Night at the Theatre” concerts. American popular music will include Irving Berlin Showstoppers, An Ellington Festival, Tribute to Benny Goodman, and Gershwin! The program will also include O’er the Land of the Free arranged by Vinson, Ragged Rozey March by Karl King, a suite from the musical “Hamilton,” and the Serenade from The Student Prince. The concert will close with our national march, Stars and Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa.
Concert funding is being provided by the Campbellsport Chamber of Commerce, Fond du Lac County, Wright Veterinary Services and Schlaefer Optometrists. An ice cream social will be hosted by the Campbellsport 4-H. Special thanks to the Campbellsport Area Chamber of Commerce for coordinating arrangements for the concert.
