The 29th annual Concert of Chamber Music will be presented on Sunday, January 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of Our Saviour, 9th and Main Streets in Fond du Lac. The program will feature classical and lighter selections, performed by ensembles from the Fond du Lac Symphonic Band.
An organ prelude by Arpad Muranyi will begin at 2:40 p.m. The tracker organ on which he will perform was custom-built for the Church of Our Saviour sanctuary by noted German organ builder Klaus Becker in 1988. It is frequently featured at recitals and concerts.
The program will include trombone soloist Jason Ehlert, a bassoon duet, and a clarinet duo playing the music of Bach.

Bach, including the familiar chorale Sleepers Wake (Wachet auf, cult uns die Stimme) from Cantata BWV 140. A clarinet choir will perform En Bateau by Debussy and a Tchaikovsky waltz.
A trombone choir will perform three selections including John Philip Sousa’s The Thunderer march. The program will close with a brass choir playing Nimrod from Elgar’s “Enigma Variations,” Christmas Postlude by Best, and a traditional American folk tune, Coming ‘Round the Mountain.
There is no admission charge for the Chamber Concert. A free-will offering will be received.
