The Buttermilk Festival summer music series will present the Fond du Lac High School Summer Band on Wednesday, July 14 at 7:15 p.m. Under the direction of Chris Barnes, the Fondy High Summer Band ranges from incoming freshman to the most recent graduates. Over recent weeks, these talented young musicians have worked hard refining their skills and preparing music in two separate bands. Their program will feature music related to entertainment such as video games and movies, including the Mandalorian, Up, How to Train Your Dragon, and medleys by Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
Prior to the main concert, the Fond du Lac Middle School Summer Band will perform at 7:00 p.m. These student musicians are a conglomerate of all three local public middle schools and the fifth grade band program. They are excited to share their musical abilities with an appreciative audience to show off their hard work this summer.
